Tajweed & Quran Course
Tajweed (Quran Recitation Rules):
Arabic is a language with subtle nuances where even a minor mispronunciation can significantly change the meaning of a word. In order to uphold the sanctity and precision of Quranic recitation, specific reading rules, known as tajweed, are established for the reciter of the Quran. Upon enrolling in our Quran recitation program, participants will receive comprehensive instruction on tajweed rules and will have the opportunity to practice reciting the Quran.
1.Beginner Level
Basic concepts and significance of the Quran Introduction to the Quranic alphabet and pronunciation Memorization of Short Surahs.
- Surah Al-Fatihah
- Surah Al-Ikhlas
- Surah Al-Falaq
- Surah An-Nas
The following are the components of assessment criteria for the course:
- Online work (50%)
- Writing homework (10%)

2. intermediate Level
Intermediate Tajweed rules Practice recitation with correct pronunciation.
Additional Surahs from Juz Amma and selected Surahs from other parts Regular recitation practice.

3.Advanced Level
Study of advanced Tajweed rules Practice recitation with advanced application.
Memorization of selected longer Surahs Intensive recitation practice

Quran Memorization Course
- Purpose: This course is designed for students who have already mastered Quranic recitation with proper Tajweed (recitation rules) and are now ready to embark on the journey of complete Quran memorization.
- Prerequisites: Ability to read the Quran fluently with proper Tajweed.
Completion of previous Quranic courses, including foundational memorization and recitation training.
- Structured Memorization Plan:
A detailed plan that breaks down the Quran into manageable sections, allows students to memorize the entire Quran systematically. - Daily Recitation and Review:
Emphasis on consistent daily recitation and review to reinforce memorized portions and ensure retention. - Regular Assessments:
Frequent assessments to evaluate progress, correct mistakes, and provide constructive feedback to ensure mastery of each portion. - Personalised Support:
One-on-one sessions with experienced instructors who provide guidance, motivation, and support throughout the memorization journey. - Techniques for Retention:
Training on techniques and methods to improve memory retention and recall, such as repetition, association, and mental visualization. - Spiritual and Mental Preparation:
Incorporation of spiritual practices and mental exercises to strengthen focus, patience, and dedication, which are essential for successful memorization. - Final Review and Completion:
A comprehensive review of the entire Quran to ensure all sections are firmly memorized, with a focus on correcting any inconsistencies. - Completion Ceremony:
Upon successfully memorizing the entire Quran, students will be honoured in a completion ceremony, recognizing their achievements. - Continued Practice and Review:
Guidance on maintaining memorization after course completion, including recommended practices for daily review and engagement with the Quran.

This course is the culmination of the Quranic studies journey, aimed at helping students achieve the noble goal of becoming Hafiz (one who has memorized the entire Quran).
It takes 2 to 3 years.
